Spending Quality Time
I am sure every parent loves to spend time with their children. Well, maybe not every parent, but normally a parent loves to spend time with their kids.
I know I do, and every moment with AJ is a blessing. I almost died after giving birth to him. I did not even know this happened until he was almost a year old and my mom mentioned it. Kind of freaked me out.
So now I cherish every time I spend with him. But with working at writing articles and trying to take care of the house and AJ at the same time, I do not really have a lot of free time.
So just relaxing with AJ does not come as often as it used to. I am afraid he is going to grow up and I will miss it all. I love my baby, but I miss him at times. When I am working, cleaning, or otherwise busy, I miss him. I even miss him now as I write this post.
So how do you find the time for family time?
I started with a schedule. Now I am not saying you should schedule your quality time with your kid, but schedule everything else! It really helps. The main point is that you have to stick with it.
I kind of failed that today. But I am going to get at least 2 articles done today, instead of 3 1/2. That is my new goal. The articles have quite a few words to do, a couple of them are 3500 so it may take me a minute to do. Plus with research and everything else, it will take some time. But my articles that are 1500 and 2500 words will be easy to do, even with the research I have to do.
The main thing is, you need to focus on your kids and your regular duties. Spending time with your child shouldn’t feel like a duty, it should feel like a blessing. Cherish every moment you have with your kids. Spend as much time as you can with them.
I know everyone wants some downtime to themselves, but with having kids it can be difficult. And finding time for your partner is hard too. But you have to MAKE the time. Stop making excuses and start making the time!
